I love my kitties! I spent the 13 years prior to buying The Loft managing a Veterinary Clinic, so animals are very dear to my heart. Prior to that, I had many years of retail store experience.
I have lived in Alachua for the past 25 years and love our little community! I serve on the Board of the Alachua Historical Society and the Alachua Business League. Buying a store on Main Street is a dream come true for me!

Whitney DurrIsn't she fabulous! This is her Mad Hatter costume on Halloween 2011. She has been with the shop since before Valerie bought it! Whitney is in her Senior year of dual enrollment at SFC.
Nicole Stroud
Nicole not only works in the clothing area, she also makes all the fabulous hair bows and bottle cap items in our new Gift Shoppe and Artisan's Gallery. She is married and has 2 adorable daughters.
